About the Role
A fantastic opportunity is available to an enthusiastic individual to a join a world leading FMCG Organisation located in Macquarie Park. This role involves the providing the financial support to various sales business units within the company that reach consumers in a variety of different mediums. A key part of the role will be participating in the annual budgeting and forecasting process as well as assisting with business transformation initiatives.
This role is suited to a switched on candidate who is currently studying CA/CPA or someone who is looking to get back into the workforce and has a strong transactional background/enjoys business partnering.
The role will include, but is not limited to:

• Ensure new users in the Sales teams are appropriately set up and trained in the use of SAP and inhouse reporting through Promax.
• Assist in the development of the Annual Business Plan (ABP) by working with the Senior Sales Controller and Sales teams
• Assist in the consolidation of ABP/Forecast, including uploading key metrics to the global system
• Proactively participate and uphold processes and accounting internal controls
• Provide support to the Senior Sales Controller and Head of Controlling as deemed appropriate
• Support the Sales Controlling function in annual budget and quarterly forecast process including preparation of presentations when required.
• Provide adhoc analysis and reporting where required, including monitor promotional and other Trade expenditure.
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure adherence to accounting processes and controls including month end and quarter end requirements
• Key User for internal financial systems from an administrative perspective.

The ideal Candidate:

• Studying towards CPA, CA or CIMA
• Prior relevant commercial financial experience within Retail/FMCG landscape
• Tech savvy; in depth knowledge with a large ERP System (SAP Preferred)
• Intermediate MS Excel Skills
• Analytical mindset
• Exceptional communication skills; written & verbal
