Overall, the key areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborate with the R&D team, offering expertise on manufacturing methods for new concepts.
- Manufacturing components and assembling prototypes for testing.
- Develop engineering scopes and specification documents for projects.
- Document designs comprehensively, encompassing 3D modeling, manufacturing drawings, process specifications, DFMEA, and risk assessments.
Profile
To be considered for this role you will have/ be:
- Fitter and Turner Trade qualification is a must
- Experience working with tooling equipment is a must.
- Proficient understanding of various manufacturing processes.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Full Covid Vaccination is required.
- Knowledge of drawing standards and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
- Experience in metrology and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling is desirable.
