With an already huge Customer base, APCO/IGA Alfredton provides the highest quality fuel, Café 24/7 food and coffee, convenience products and fresh fruit and vegetables to all customers along with a vast selection of grocery and local specialty products.

Due to high demand, we are excited to seek a new Junior Grocery Store Person to join our fantastic team. 

As our new Junior Store Person, you will be responsible for assisting us with managing all incoming stock and keeping the storage areas clean, tidy and organised. Working as part of an effective team, you will be highly organised, diligent and able to work independently.

Duties of the role will include, but not be limited to:

· Unpacking, storing and rotating of stock

· Keeping the storerooms in a clean and organised manner at all times

· Accepting deliveries and checking against invoices

· Inspecting for damaged goods with notification to relevant parties

· Assistance with general cleaning of the Store including toilets and POS areas

· Stocking store shelves and customer assistance on point of sale (POS) when required.

To be successful, you must have a great attitude, be physically fit to work in a manual position which includes lifting, cleaning etc. and have a passion to work in a great team environment whilst promoting exceptional customer service skills. 

This role would greatly suit a recent school leaver who is looking to commence their career within the fast paced and rewarding Retail Convenience sector. A relevant Traineeship would also be considered by agreement.
