A day in the life:
As the designated HR Partner for small and medium-sized businesses, your role involves collaborating with diverse clients across a variety of industries
With a clear focus on balancing HR and business needs, partner with your clients to provide pragmatic expert advice in line with relevant legislation on employee relations and industrial relations issues such as grievances, investigations, and performance management, effectively mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.
Build strong and personable relationships with your clients and team by working collaboratively to create & execute a proactive HR strategic plan aligned with business goals and assisting with resolving reactive issues as they arise.
Be an innovator by identifying improvement opportunities such as processes, policies and identifying strategic solutions to solve problems
Implement and maintain your clients HRIS (Employment Hero)
Advocate and display thought leadership across your portfolio, by creating knowledge based articles, participate in webinars and group training sessions
Manage differing needs and projects across your portfolio to ensure that deliverables and efficiencies are implemented into your clients operations.
What you’ll need to succeed
Proven experience as a trusted HR Advisor with strong experience in IR & ER matters and a readiness to level up!
Excellent understanding of FairWork legislation and relevant employment laws across each state and territory in Australia
Experience working with multiple Awards and Enterprise Agreements
An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
The Motivation to develop your ability to strategically engage with clients and continually improve your understanding of strategic HR practices
The capability to work autonomously, be self motivated and juggle multiple priorities
An appetite for working in a high-performing, collaborative team with abundant energy, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic
Proficiency in leveraging technology (e.g., Employment Hero) to streamline HR processes and enhance the overall HR experience
Qualifications in HR, Law, Business or similar fields
