ABOUT THE ROLE
Whether you have one - two years experience or ten years experience we have the capacity to build this role around you.
This is a full time role but can be flexible should the right candidate apply.
As an R&D Accounting professional you will be working with your own client base in conjunction with our Partners to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
You will be allocated a Mentor to help you progress within your career and to help you when ever needed.
You would be responsible for the following depending on your experience but training will be provided if and when needed:
- Preparation of individual, partnership, trust & company tax returns across a number of various industries
- Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Preparation of Business & Instalment Activity Statements
- Undertaking research into complex tax issues - such as GST, CGT, and Div 7a
- Tax Planning for a variety of SME clients
- Assisting clients with accounting software solutions (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks)
You will also be required to maintain relationships with clients, assisting with queries through meetings, as well as phone and email correspondence.
ABOUT YOU
In order to succeed at R&D Accounting, you will have:
- 1-2 years minimum experience in public practice accounting
- Extensive computer knowledge with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, Handisoft, Xero would be a great but not essential
- Extremely strong attention to detail - this is a must :)
- Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines
- An enthusiastic attitude
Ideally applicants will have experience with the Handisoft suite of products, Xero, SF360, MYOB, Reckon, & Quickbooks but once again not essential.
