Accountant - Graduate/Junior/Intermediate (Public Practice)

The Company

Ponti Partners is seeking applications from Accountants of all levels. Based in Townsville we deliver the full suite of tax and compliance services across a wide range of industries. 

The Role

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Working with a diverse range of tax matters (CGT, SBE concessions, FBT, Div7a, Franking etc)
• Work with the partners in tax planning and structuring matters
• Working from home options
• Paid for CPA/CA studies, and paid study leave
• A supportive and relaxed work environment

What you'll need 

• 0-3 years’ experience in the Australian Public Practice industry
• Tax and compliance background
• Completed or currently undertaking Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (not critical, but desirable)
• Able to work in a team environment and autonomously
• Strong time management and the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time
• A positive attitude and a motivated personality
• CA/CPA qualification will be highly regarded 
• Experience with QBO, Xero and MYOB will be highly regarded
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (excel, outlook, word etc)
