Junior Product Engineer

The successful candidate will be initially trained personally by the Technical Manager and will benefit from a supportive and diverse company culture. Based full time on site in our Clayton office.

Successful Product Engineers will have the opportunity to transition into a R&D, Product Management or in the Ground presales team as a Solution Engineer, where you will leverage your technical expertise to drive sales or innovation and build lasting customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities

· Develop a deep technical understanding of our Ground mount fixed and tracker product solutions

· Provide Product research (market requirement, technology trend, competitor analyst)

· Assist the Product Manager with Product development process (Testing, verification, certifications )

· Assist the Product Manager with product release and promotion (data sheet, release notes, application notes)

· Collaborate with our HQ Ground Division on product & material innovation, design and development

· Collaborate with the local structural engineering team for product certification, wind tunnel testing and local product compliance

· Assist the Product Manager with PLM and EOL management

· Assist the Ground Pre-sales team with, and presence at trade shows, customer events and technical meetings

Job Requirements

· Primary interest in renewable energy and relevant work experience is highly desirable

· Masters or PHD in Mechanical, Civil or Material Engineering

· Strong interpersonal ability, must be driven to make an impact and progress professionally

· Candidates must be self-starting, self-managed, able to manage their own deadlines, KPI’s

· Candidates must have full working rights in Australia and speaking Mandarin is preferred
