Junior Product Manager/Admin

As a NCH Software Junior Product Manager, your role is to build new products and features by combining existing ideas with new ideas from your experience and interactions with customers and prospects.

Our office for these positions is in River City Labs in Brisbane. This is an in-office position. 

You will develop a deep technical understanding of the NCH Software products, as well as a big-picture understanding of the challenges that face our customers and technologies needed to solve those challenges.

You will be tasked with helping NCH Software take our products to the next level to continue growth. You will have the opportunity to work directly with customers to understand their needs, work with NCH Software leadership on product strategy, work with Sales and Marketing to improve customer reach and to work with the technology teams to develop amazing software.

Position overview:

• Talk to customers and review customer feedback regularly to set product priorities
• Define product requirements and work with developers to design and build new features
• Assist in QA of the software by testing new features and providing feedback to the developers
• Work with Marketing to develop ad text and website improvements
• Increase sales revenue of paid products and excellent ratings of free products
• Increase sales per download of software products
• Work with team members in various time zones including the USA and Australia
• Some HR/Administration 

Essential skills include:

• Candidate must possess a Degree in a related field such as UX, Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Engineering or Business Administration with an emphasis on Computers
• At least 2 years of working experience in software development, graphic design, web design or software product management is required
• Be familiar with best practices for User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX)
• You must be familiar with Excel and able to create spreadsheets, pivot tables, vlookups and more
• Product instincts that focus on the user and drive delivering increased value to the customer which will be shown by increased sales
• Demonstrated project management skills in development, implementation or technical analysis
• Experience developing software requirements and communicating with development teams - ASCII Art capabilities is a plus
