Your new role
We are seeking a Junior SharePoint Administrator to join our Canberra Defence Support Team. You will provide technical guidance and support to our Defence client. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced team members, gaining expertise in various applications, including Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications, MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe products (AEM).
Clear and concise communication skills, engagement, negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving high customer service levels are essential for success in this position.
This role is based in onsite in Canberra, ACT. There is also a rotating on-call roster.
Your skills and experience
- Junior in your ICT career, you are a quick learner, have an open mind and are keen to grow and develop.
- Technically you have good fundamental knowledge of ICT infrastructure and applications (either hands-on experience or education). Bonus if you have specifically worked on SharePoint.
- Experience working within Defence environments.
- You have good communication skills and a customer focussed approach. You are personable and confident can easily change your approach to suit your audience.
Due to the nature of the role, you hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) Australian Government security clearance.
