Verde Lawyers is a law firm located in Sydney CBD, specialising in the areas of family law, property law, wills and estates, commercial litigation and migration law. Our client base includes both corporate and individual clients within Australia and based internationally.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Solicitor with at least one year post admission experience in migration law to join our growing team in this full-time role.

The Role
You must be able to:
- Work autonomously on cases including obtaining instructions from clients, conducting due diligence, research and carrying out the work required;
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather information required in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as affidavits, contracts for sale of land, commercial purchase contracts, lease agreements and wills;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues;
- Participate in developing the Verde Lawyers brand by representing the firm and contributing to brand development strategies.
The Candidate
- Admitted as a lawyer in NSW with a current practicing certificate (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement of work);
- At least one year post admission experience;
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude and the ability to be proactive and take initiative;
- Interest in broadening your skills and a passion for learning;
- Experience with PEXA is highly regarded;
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships;
- The selected candidate will have a great work ethic, high level of adaptability and excellent people skills.
