We are currently seeking a Junior Surveyor to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team, which delivers a diverse range of services across numerous construction sites throughout Melbourne and Victoria. We offer comprehensive training and mentoring to help individuals steer their careers in their desired direction.
Our robust pipeline of work spans various sectors, including landscape, civil, defense, infrastructure, and electrical projects. These assignments demand the application of cutting-edge techniques and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and gaining knowledge from Senior Surveyors throughout the training phase.
- Operating independently to perform field surveys and stakeouts onsite after completing the training phase.
- Coordinating with Project Engineers and Supervisors to fulfill all surveying needs for their respective sites, maintaining utmost accuracy for project requirements.
- Processing and formatting data for drafters and designers to facilitate report generation and quantity calculations based on site information.
- Providing training to Supervisors and field Crew on GPS usage following the training phase.
About You
- A recent diploma in Surveying or related field studies is preferred, with 1 or 2 years of surveying experience considered advantageous but not obligatory.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency, with a keen eye for detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Familiarity with software such as Topcon survey and CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to the latest equipment and technologies.
- Possession of a valid Victoria Driver’s license, along with traits of punctuality and responsibility.
