Junior Systems Administrator – McCarroll's Automotive Group, Gordon

We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, driven person to join our I.T team in Gordon as a Junior Systems Administrator.

The key responsibilities and duties will include:

• Provide end-user support to staff via phone and email for technical support enquiries
• Provide remote support and ability to remotely troubleshoot IT issues
• Administer the set-up of new profiles, create and update access permissions and maintain user accounts across multiple systems
• Managing the full range of technologies including, but not limited to: Windows, Office 365, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, Active Directory, Dealer Management System (DMS) and OEM manufacturer systems
• Maintain the ICT Helpdesk ticketing system (Manage Engine Service Desk Plus);
• Performing core admin functions to maintain system integrity
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, networks, application software and system management tools
• Active Directory administration
• Security administration and patching of software and hardware.
• Firewall implementation and administration.
• WiFi administration and management
• Core systems and network support
• Desktop and workstation support
• IP phone setup, maintenance and support

The successful applicant will offer the following experience:

• Previous Systems / Network / Infrastructure administration experience
• ITIL experience or certification
• Skills with Microsoft, Active Directory, Office 365, Networking, Firewalls, VPN
• Active Directory and Group Policy management
• Office 365 (Exchange) Administration
• Network Management experience (inc VPNs & Firewalls)
• Antivirus management software experience
• Competent in deploying and maintaining Applications
• Experience in ICT system administration and support, infrastructure and support and/or similar roles;
• Significant experience in delivering a high level of systems administration support;
• Solid understanding of network technologies (switching, routing, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN)
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and the ability to collaborate with others.
• Excellent documentation and report writing skills;
• Experience with Mitel Phones
• MUST HAVE Driver's license
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferable
• Experience with Pentana ERALink / eraPower is preferable
• Knowledge of VOIP phones, Mitel phone systems experience is preferable

A company vehicle and fuel card will also be provided to the successful candidate.
