Your role will include many of the following duties:
Undertake hydrologic modelling including SDL adjustments, Water Sharing Plan accreditation, compliance and auditing using models of river systems.
Undertake technical studies for assessing impacts of policy options on various water users in the system.
Carryout modifications and improvements in capabilities of the hydrologic models (e.g. programming in FORTRAN/Visual C#/Visual Basic/Python) to enable new water resource management options and policies to be examined.
Prepare reports, technical manuals and presentation of results and analysis in formats suitable for a range of audiences including Project Boards, technical working groups, community reference panels, river operators and the general public.
Contribute and work as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
