Junior Web Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Web Developer to join our development team. As a Junior Web Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain valuable experience in web development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development and maintenance of web applications and websites
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of web applications
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance the user experience

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, SQL, NodeJS and JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of server-side programming languages like PHP
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React
• Knowledge of database management systems MySQL
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and principles
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS)
