We are looking for an outstanding Karting Manager who can develop one of South Australia’s premier Motorsport and entertainment precincts. Reporting to the CEO with collaboration across Motorsport Operations, Venue Operations and Events and Experiences, this role will ensure that karting remains a premier experience delivered at The Bend.
The Karting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of all activities conducted at the KartDrome Circuit area. This includes management of all day-to-day hire karts including our Driver Experience Program, merchandise and food sales, stocktake, kart repairs, and re-ordering of parts. This role also includes the oversite of dry-hires and third part vendors.

What will you be responsible for?
- Operate hire karting business including revenue generation opportunities and delivering superior customer experience
- Deliver exceptional karting experiences including general karting, DEP’s and events
- Deliver of sales reporting on weekly basis and reforecasting on a monthly basis
- In consultation with management, develop the budget and re-forecasting for karting
- Oversee kart repairs and ensure karts have minimum downtime
- Prepare and oversee the presentation of the facility including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance schedules for the venue
- Work in consultation with the Track and Grounds team to schedule regulate venue inspections and maintenance work
- Ensure WHS & insurer requirements are met and re-evaluated as required
- Oversee retention initiatives for existing client database
- Work collaboratively across TBMP precincts and Mallala
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Customer service experience essential
- Interpersonal/written communication, liaison and facilitation
- Perform functions which require organisation, bending, reaching, turning and lifting.
- Pleasant, upbeat, and sociable personality
- Ability to maintain safety standards at all times
- Drivers licence
- National Police Check (mandatory)
- Working with Children check (mandatory)
