Your Impact

The Key Account Executive (KAE) is a dedicated key account role responsible for growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience within their customer territory and Queensland Off Premise Channel. You will be responsible for managing key account retail groups in QLD on behalf of Green Beacon, as well as providing analytical & administration support to the KAMs based in QLD, NSW & VIC to ensure optimization of all promotional plans. Crucial to the success of this role are the relationships formed both internally & externally to ensure both GB and CUB successfully meet their targets. This role with sit in the Green Beacon office in Brisbane.


Your key accountabilities will be:

  • Understand key drivers of the customers business and the channel strategy and translate this into execution of the customer plans.
  • Achieve agreed brand and commercial targets in line with the national account strategy and individual objectives.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and develop insights to support promotional activity
  • Understand the opportunity by state to help drive performance and achievement of mutual goals
  • Effective communication to state KAMs of the specific trends and insights
  • Analyse performance of retail banners and identify growth opportunity
  • Build effective relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements
  • Maximise time spent with customers in up sell, cross sell and brand building

  • Experienced in FMCG Sales across field sales or account management
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets using a structured data-driven, planned approach
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and execution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with customers to close out sales and contractual arrangements
  • Highly proficient in using a range of computer packages - Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Proven industry experience
  • The ability to work autonomously and take calculated risks, while also building and fostering long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and teammates
  • A passion for craft beer & celebrate our range by ensuring a deep knowledge of our products and showcase our beer
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Current QLD RSA
