AddressDue to increasing demand for our services we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly Practice Nurse (RN Div 1 or EN) to work in our well-equipped treatment room, other health programs of chronic disease management, results provision and employment medicals.
Health e Medical Centre is a well-established and accredited General Practice in Geelong West. We have 13 GPs and believe in working collaboratively with our clinical and administrative teams to strive for excellence, and provide progressive health care services to our local community.
Essential Criteria:
- Current RN or EN registration with APHRA
- Flexibility and commitment to assist with holiday/leave cover
- An energetic, enthusiastic, friendly "can do" personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Immunisation certified
- Experience with Best Practice software or similar
- Chronic disease management experience
- General Practice nursing experience
- APNA membership
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Triage and patient assessment;
- Clinical patient care incl. wound care, immunisation, ear suction, assistance with minor surgical procedures;
- Infection control; consumables ordering and stocking
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of practice software
- Demonstrated patient focused approach in service provision
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
