As the Key Account Manager, Taste and Wellbeing you will develop our current business and develop new business and external clients relations by securing briefs and identifying and responding to opportunities. Develop excellent internal client relationships in all key areas (Purchasing, Marketing and Technical) and at all levels within the organisation with the purpose to achieve sustainable growth in Oceania and deliver a outstanding customer experience to our customers.
You will be based in Sydney or Melbourne and report directly to the Sales Manager, Taste & Wellbeing, Oceania
Your role will include:
Deliver sales performance and achieve sales targets
Work against the annual budget planned to achieve new wins
New products introduction
Prepare monthly sales forecast with the planning team
Monthly reporting and presenting of new wins
Manage and develop initiatives designed to win and retain new Key Accounts
Manage the key customer accounts as allocated and defined in the Key Account List
Secure project briefs by fostering strong customer relationships by understanding customer’s business and marketing strategies
Undertake regular customer visits to service customer needs and promptly deal with issues or complaints
Strategic account management - developing, implementing and monitoring projects in line with customer strategic direction (this includes forecasting and planning)
Lead key projects and coordinate all the key functional areas to achieve project timelines and meet customer briefs
Monitor competitor movements and marketplace dynamics ensuring information is communicated with main team members
Understand external customer business strategy (E.G: studying customer annual report)
Maintain Project briefs in Atlas
Proactive presentations for potential customers
Monthly reporting and presenting of new wins
Regular Data maintenance
Follow up on the customer payments

Your professional profile includes:
At least 8 years successful B2B Sales experience in Flavour, Nutritional & Health Ingredients, or related industry with experience delivering sales growth above market levels
Experience with the flavour and nutritional ingredient landscape in Oceania
Natural drive and hunger for growth and a passion to uncover new business opportunities
Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and disciplines towards One business goal and as One Team
Creative and develops solutions with an innovative bent that are for the good of the full business
Must have Australian working rights
