Position Title: Kids Ministry Coordinator

KALAMUNDA CHURCH ~ Who We Are: Kalamunda Church Of Christ | Perth, WA

Hours: 

• 1 day per week as negotiated upon.

Vision of the Role:

• We see a vibrant Kids Ministry, and in this next season growing to over 50 kids on a Sunday, with a passionate and organised person leading the program and teams.

Overview:

• Coordinating the children’s ministry of KCC and building an effective program and volunteer teams to grow the ministry for the future.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing Kids Church Programs to grow the next generation in discipleship to Jesus.
• Rostering Volunteers and growing the volunteer teams.
• Providing training and meetings for the Kids Church teams.

How do I know I am Winning?

• Success in this role would mean setting up effective programs and managing volunteer teams to support the growth of the Kids Ministry. We see this role growing into more paid hours as the Sunday Kids Ministry grows.

Authority:

• To lead volunteers in the Kids Ministry.
• To spend within the agreed budget for the Kids Ministry.

Accountability:

• Reports to the Senior Pastor

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essentials About You

1. Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and commitment to KCCs Vision. Be or willing to become a member of KCC.
2. Self-motivated, and great at leading teams and volunteers.
3. Passionate about the discipleship of the next generation.
4. Experience in leading teams in a ministry context and empowering others to lead.
5. Highly organised and can relate well to families in a Church context.
6. Driven and excited about the opportunity to grow the Kids Ministry into the next season at KCC.
