About the role
We are looking for an experienced checkmeasurer or an experienced cabinet maker wanting to make the shift into the checkmeasuring role.

We take great care of our customers and consider this one of the most important roles in our company. 

About You

• Qualified Cabinet Maker 
• Strong customer service focus
• General/excellent computer skills
• Cabinet Vision experience and detailing cabinetry and/or bathrooms
• People person – the ability to communicate to different personality types
• General renovation building/trades and awareness
• Best experience is a qualified cabinet maker who wants to get off the tools and work in the office. More project management based

Duties and responsibilities

• Receive ‘sold contract and plans’ from the office and call customer to schedule a ‘check measure’ appointment.  This appointment is done in the customers home.  Sometimes during ‘office hours’, sometimes after.
• Site Visit (appointment in customers home) Kitchens and Bathrooms available
  • Visit the customers home and measure the room for manufacturing purposes
  • Collect customers appliance and material selection details
  • Discuss all cabinetry requirements including function and design to enable this person to prepare final manufacturing drawings
  • Discuss all trade requirements for the onsite work required.  Ie.  Plumbing, electrical, building, installation, flooring
• After the site visit
  • Prepare plans using Drawing Program – Cabinet Vision
  • Email plans and specifications to customer for sign off
  • Document all trade requirements so office can schedule the correct trades with full list of requirements
  • Email plans and specifications to factory to manufacture
  • Submit file back to office for Installation team to take over the Project Management of the job
