In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, we are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand to join the team at RAAF Base East Sale.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm providing you with fantastic work life balance.
About The Role:
- Safe food handling, sanitisation and cleanliness of the meal and service areas.
- Ensuring cleanliness of food preparation equipment.
- Assist in stock takes and other inventory control activities as required.
- Comply with site specific safety requirements and report any potential issues.
- Assist with basic food preparation, as requested by the Head Chef.
About You:
- Relevant experience as a Kitchen Hand in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Understanding of hygiene practices of the food safety program
- Ability and willingness to follow instruction.
- Good communication skills.
