The Role

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the two Kitchen Managers, and the Retail Production Compliance Officer. 

About the Role

The role is required to

• Conduct audits, and establish targets, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance in all aspects of kitchen operations.
• Prepare all rosters for up to 90 chefs and kitchen staff.
• Work alongside the chefs to record and prepare recipe procedures.
• Ensure that all recipes are in the approved format, and are version controlled.
• Prepare recipe costings based on observing the chefs prepare dishes.
• Ensure that costings flow through to the appropriate control systems
• Audit recipe costings daily.

Experience

• This role would suit a chef, looking to move into admin\management.
• Proven experience within the hospitality industry and working with large teams is essential.
• Experience in a high volume and high intensity environment with proven ability to respond to changing circumstances.
• Excellent organisational skills, time management and a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on team development 
• High level of literacy, numeracy, and computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite.
