Form of workWe are seeking a passionate and dynamic Kitchen Steward Supervisor to lead our team in maintaining the heartbeat of our back of house cleanliness and kitchen operations. As the Supervisor you'll be the maestro of cleanliness, organisation and efficiency in our culinary playground.
About the role:
- Work with the Chief Kitchen Steward to lead and inspire the team of dedicated Kitchen Stewards in maintain impeccable cleanliness
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of operations and cleanliness in all kitchen areas
- Oversee inventory management of cleanliness supplies and equipment to keep the kitchen sparkling
- Foster a culture of teamwork, positivity, and high standards among the stewarding team.
- Collaborate with the kitchen management to implement new strategies for improved efficiency and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance to Work, Health and Safety, Hygiene and HACCP standards.
About YOU:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards in a fast pace environment.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of times, life and carry heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and willingness to undergo additional training as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the demands of the Hotel.
- Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
