An opportunity exists for a Chemist who is self-motivated, adaptable and results driven.
Working alongside a dynamic and professional team, you will provide functional expertise in supporting the site. This role is integral in developing and maintaining technical solutions for all stakeholders.
Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Quality Assurance throughout the manufacturing process and Quality Control of all our products.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the chemistries required to meet our existing customer’s technical needs as well as supporting New Product Development (NPD) Targets
- Contribute to the growth of the business through development of new products and processes
- Maintenance and calibration of testing and analytical equipment
- Investigating and recommending solutions to product deviations
- Compliance with HSEQ management system requirements and participating in Continuous Improvement Programmes
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- BSc Chemistry or Postgraduate in organic or polymer chemistry
- Industry based laboratory experience
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and independently on projects
- Excellent self-management, organisation, and planning skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills including computer skills
