Duties include but are not limited to:
- Organisation and sample management for testing at regular set intervals
- Basic chemistry/microbiological testing - pH testing of finished goods, microbiological testing, water sampling and filtration, organoleptic analysis of FG
- Working alongside a FT Laboratory technician, role is to support and help with all testing requirements
- Provide accurate and timely communication of results of all testing and analysis to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the provision of an efficient and reliable testing service in accordance with approved methods,
- Carry out day-to-day lab testing work including sample preparation, chemical and micro preparation.
- Escalation of out of specification product / results
Skills and experience required to succeed in this role:
- Demonstrated laboratory experience and proficient in basic laboratory skills: pipetting, weighing, measuring.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Sound problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to explain test findings and trouble-shoot errors.
- Good time-management skills and ability to manage competing priorities to deliver results on time.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to complete all required tasks.
