AddressGet trained to be a lab tech for a large-scale construction company in the ACT region.
Your new company
This Australian business has been operating for over 75 years across Australia and specialises in concrete and asphalt products. Due to a team member moving on into a new position, they are seeking a lab tech to backfill a now vacant spot in their Canberra team.
Your new role
As a Lab Tech, you’ll be required to:
- Drive the company vehicle out to sites to collect aggregate for testing
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Generate and report test results
- Ensure that record keeping is accurate
- Assist the technical team when required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A Certificate in IV in Laboratory Techniques is highly regarded
- A current driver's license is essential
- A valid White Card, Asbestos Awareness card and Silica Awareness ticket is essential
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
