Form of work Our client is a globally-renowed manufacturer of a range of cleaning and personal healthcare products and a strong reputation for quality. There is currently an exciitng opportunity for a Laboratory Technician based at their north-western Sydney location for immediate start. The role will be on a casual basis, but is expected to be full-time hours on an ongoing contract. All training will be provided, so recent graduates would be considered.
Duties include:
Routine QC testing of chemicals, both raw materials and finished products
Preparing and analysing samples using wet chemistry or instrumentation
Operating HPLC and GC, troubleshooting and calibration
Ensuring finished products meet expected performance
To be successful you must have:
Tertiary qualifications in a scientific field, with chemistry particularly well regarded
Dedication to quality and safety
Strong understanding of a fast-paced commercial laboratory environment
Familiarity with cleaning and healthcare products a plus
A desire to learn new skills and challenge themselves
