Labourer For Yard And Shot Crew - Mt Isa

NW Mining & Civil are seeking a reliable labourer to join our client’s small but hard working team in Mt Isa.
Daily duties will vary day to day, and include general yard work such as cleaning machines & vehicles, picking up & delivering parts and helping the tradespeople including fitters, boilermakers and carpenters.
The other side to the role will see you helping out on the Shot Crew traveling to various mine sites in NW QLD to carry out blasts. Working away for a few days at a time, you will assist the shot firer and machine operators to safely set up and carry out the shots, and must be able to obtain your QLD explosive security clearance in order to conduct this work.
Applicants must reside in Mt Isa to be considered. Pay rate is from $37/hr flat rate, shifts are 10-12hr days.
Those with a copy of a pre employment medical including respiratory health surveillance from within the last 12 months will be highly regarded.
Please ensure you meet the following mandatory criteria to apply:

• Current drivers licence
• Ability to obtain an explosive clearance (clear police check)
• Reside in Mt Isa
• Be able to pass medical and D&A screening
