Labourer / Trainee Pool Installer

$28 – $32 per hour + overtime

Rate of remuneration will be dependent on experience.

Established Pool Installers are also welcome to contact us for either employment or subcontracting opportunities.

At Barrier Reef Pools (WA) we are dedicated to delivering world class fibreglass Swimming Pools to customers across Western Australia. 

An exciting full-time opportunity is now available for a Labourer / JnrPool Installer to join our team.

We are looking for positive, hard-working team players to learn the installation, plumbing and compaction of fibreglass Swimming Pools. Job sites are located within the Metro area. 

Reporting to the Main Pool Installer, you will be part of a small team of 2-3 people, who go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right and the customer’s needs are met.

About the Role: 

• Job Sites are in the metro area
• Monday – Friday and some Saturdays 
• Physical
• Focused on delivering top quality product and customer service

 Key Responsibilities include:

• Digging trenches
• Plumbing Pipe
• Screeding
• Shovelling/Wheelbarrowing sand
• Securing construction fencing
• Sweeping and general site clean up
• Assisting the Main installer with site photos and admin
• Sand compaction with hose extension and pencil vibe
• Setting up Swimming Pool equipment
• Be able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision 
• Ensure close working relationships with supplier and contractor network 
• Able to actively solve problems 

Successful Attributes: 

• Experience in the Swimming Pool or landscaping industry is highly advantageous but not mandatory
• Physically Fit
• Able to work outdoors and on construction sites 
• Good Customer Service and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• Positive “happy to do” attitude
• Australian Work Rights 
• White Card
• Drivers Licence and vehicle
