As one of our Roads and Drains Labourers you will work within a small crew to undertake a range of labouring duties and manual handling tasks predominantly related to basic civil construction and roads and drains maintenance across the Moreton Bay region. Your responsibilities will include carrying out basic concreting, maintaining signage and posts and repairing and maintaining traffic islands.
support the wider outputs of the Asset Maintenance department as directed
Council currently has depots located at Arana Hills, Bribie Island, Burpengary, Dayboro, Deception Bay, Caboolture, Margate, Petrie and Woodford.
About you
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate experience in a similar role undertaking operational tasks in a safety-oriented Civil Construction environment and a knowledge of building materials and practises. Additionally, you will hold:
- a current MR class driver's license
- Construction Induction Card (Used or obtained within the last 2 years)
