ABOUT THE ROLE
A position is available for an Asbestos Removal Technician / Hazardous Material Technician - Underwood.
Experience in non-friable and friable asbestos removal and the construction/demolition industry is preferred but not essential - enthusiasm and dedication are highly valued.
Non-Friable, Friable and Silica training will be provided to the right candidates after the completion of drug test and medical.
This is a great opportunity to join Australia’s largest and most respected HazMat Remediation contractor!
ABOUT YOU
- Current drivers’ license and own reliable transport
- Follow instructions given by Supervisors and maintain a high work ethic.
- Maintain the current Australian standards of work and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Be flexible and able to adapt easily when completing new tasks.
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:
- Asbestos Awareness Course 10675NAT
- White card (or general construction induction card) CPCCOHS1001A
DESIRABLE:
- Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention 10830NAT
(Company training provided for suitable candidates).
