Labourer with Mechanical Abilities

Work hours can generally be 6:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, but due to the nature of the industry and service levels Millennium Rigging provides to our clients the successful candidate will be required to work outside of normal working hours and weekends including Sundays.

Applicants must have Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or Full working visa.

The roll

• Working with our team to bring projects to life 
• Controlling & building a fabrication team within the business. 
• Work on your own & or build a team around you
• Be on site & working with other trades & project managers

Preferred abilities but not essential:

• Be mechanical minded able to think outside the box 
• Labour intensive role with a degree of manual lifting and carrying involved
• Qualified welder experience both mig & arch 
• Power tools & hand tools knowledge
• Rigging & dogging- preferred 
• EWP & working at heights tickets- preferred.
• Able to read plans.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Power tools and hand tools knowledge is essential. 
• Valid MR Truck Licence 
• Valid Driver’s Licence - mandatory
• Own reliable transport - mandatory
• White Card (Construction induction card) - mandatory
• Experience in Building & Construction - essential
• Experience within a labour intensive/ heavy lifting fast paced environment – mandatory
• Concrete experience 

Licence:

• Licence (mandatory)

Some country and interstate travel maybe required
