Labourers and packers - Meat Industry

We need process workers, packers and labourers across all areas of a meat processing plant in Dandenong South, you will not be afraid to get in amongst the raw meat and have the ability to lift repetitively somewhere from 15kg-30kg.
For the right people there is opportunity to be locked into permanent ongoing employment.
Hours are Monday through to Friday 5am-2:30pm and the 5 days are required- No restricted hours visas need to apply
To be successful in these roles you will be:

• Self-motivated
• Reliable and disciplined
• Team oriented with a positive attitude
• Hard working and responsible
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to do manual handling work that involves standing for long periods with some repetitive tasks.
• Must have own transport to work.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Experience that would be nice but not a must:

• Hold a Cert III in meat processing or been assessed and verified by a MINTRAC registered assessor as having skill level commensurate to a Cert III in meat processing; and
• have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

What we are looking for:
Previous experience working in a busy production, manufacturing, warehouse or labouring environment.
You will need to be able to stand for long periods, be able to work in cold conditions and be comfortable with repetitive manual handling.
