We are inviting applications for Labourers to join us working on our Toowoomba Regional Council contract. The key focus of the role will be to enable domestic water meter replacements.
This opportunity would suit enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a team environment and who are looking to secure a longer-term working relationship with us, as further work programs become available
A variety of work is on offer with the successful applicants’ duties to also include assisting with the following functions of:
- Safety Spotter
- General Labouring- including digging around meter boxes
- Water Meter Reading
- Installation of digital data loggers on large meters
- Scoping Works for Water Meter Replacement Program
- Warehouse Tasks as required
Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and have a good eye for detail when restoring sites. Some large meters are over 50kg each which requires a 2 person lift so heavy lifting is involved, as well as a good level of physical fitness.

Your safety focused approach, coupled with high-quality workmanship and the ability to work to a deadline is of the utmost importance. You will be an energetic and motivated individual who understands the importance of exceptional customer service.
Key Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- A good level of physical fitness, and the ability to undertake heavy lifting on a regular basis
- A high regard for health, safety, environment and quality
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Comfortable entering properties safely with animals (i.e. dogs)
- Be reliable, punctual and be able to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
