1300apprentice has an exciting opportunity for motivated, committed individuals to complete a:
- Cert III in Landscape Construction Apprenticeship
or
- Cert III in Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship
Our host employer, based in Castle Hill, is an award-winning industry leader who designs, builds and maintains projects for a wide range of clients: local government bodies, schools, universities, racecourses, sporting associations and public parks and gardens across the Sydney Region.
You will learn your trade from passionate professionals as you undertake your apprenticeship.
Some key components of the roles:
- Build brick, stone retaining walls and paving
- Planting Trees
- Drainage installation
- Plant and soil improvements for garden and turf areas
- Mowing and whipper-snipping
- Plant and soil practices, including implementing plant establishment programs
- Edging and mulching
- Project costing further into the apprenticeship.
To be successful, you must:
- Have a passion for this trade and want to be part of a growing business once you've completed your apprenticeship
- Physically fit and not afraid of physically demanding work
- Well presented
- Great work ethic
- White card or willing to obtain one before employment.
- Driving licence and own transport
- Willing to obtain a Working With Children Clearance
- Dedicated and wanting to learn
- Follows direction well.
