Job description

Ambleside Landscapes is an Adelaide Hills based landscaping company with 20+ years within the industry. Specialising in landscape projects from initial design, through to construction and maintenance, we are a dynamic, growing company.

We are seeking a Full Time Landscape Foreman/Team Leader to work with our established team to execute landscape projects to a high standard. This is a dynamic role and is ideally suited to someone with Landscape Construction experience, wishing to put their leadership skills to work whilst having the support of an experienced close-knit team.

The successful candidate will be an organised individual with strong leadership and communication skills. They will have experience executing a diverse range of landscaping tasks, have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively with team members.

Starting date: May 2024

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Supervisors to manage tasks, machinery, labour and materials for allocated projects/work sites.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and applicable Australian standards to produce a high-quality finish in all areas of Landscape construction.
  • Complete a diverse range of landscaping works, including: earthworks, base preparation, paving, retaining wall construction, stonework, concreting, brick/blockwork, fencing, lawn preparation and installation, garden bed preparation, irrigation, planting, and mulching.
  • Ensure all OHS policies and procedures are executed onsite, including completing Risk Assessments and daily OHS Sign-on.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication of project progress through daily updates of photos & tasks completed in job software (Tradify)
  • Provide mentoring and training to other staff.


Qualifications, Licenses & Tickets

  • Minimum Certificate lll Landscape Construction or Equivalent Construction Experience
  • White Card
  • Unrestricted Driver’s License (C)
  • Desirable: MR Truck License, Excavator & Skid-steer tickets, First Aid
