Qualifications & experience
- 5 + years’ experience in the Horticulture industry
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence
- Qualification in Horticulture or equivalent essential.
- Experience operating and maintaining large range of commercial Landscape Maintenance equipment.
- The ability to lead and encourage team members to work effectively together.
- Good time management and communication skills
- Current Chemcert is desirable, or willing to obtain.
- The ability to adhere to company WH&S policies ensuring a safe and productive workplace
- A desire to provide a high quality commercial maintenance service
Tasks & responsibilities
- Management of full-time site located Southwest Sydney
- Organisation and programming of tasks completed on site
- Management of team to ensure efficiency and quality is maintained.
- Regularly liaising with our Management Team and Client.
- Ensuring all works are completed in a safe manner.
- Role is site based, working with the team to ensure targets are met.
- Management of a variety of landscapes onsite, ranging from formal gardens through to parks and open spaces.
- Identification and treatment of plant deficiencies and/or pest and disease.
- Irrigation Management and programming.
- Completion of associated documentation on regular basis.
