AddressInternational Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational school situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe and Kangaroo Valley. There are 1300 students from Preschool to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment.
We are now seeking to appoint a suitably qualified French Language Tutor on a casual basis, commencing as soon as possible during Term 2 2024. The language Tutor will be involved in providing in-class support for Primary School Language classes. This role operates in Term Time only, for approximately 9 hours per week, across 3 days.
To be successful in this role you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of working with children, be highly proficient in the target language, have high quality interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong commitment to building and developing a culture of care for students.
An outstanding Language Tutor and strong background in working with young children, you will be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality, performing your role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy. Experience in a similar role and capacity to support students with learning difficulties is desirable.
