Large Format Digital Print Operator
We are looking for a capable and hands on Print Operator to join the team.

Specifically the applicant will have:
- Experience with Large Format digital printing
- Knowledge of signage materials and their application
- Ability to work effectively and autonomously within a team
- Be self-motivated and show initiative and a desire to learn and be the best at what you do

Tasks & responsibilities
- Prioritise and managing work orders to meet client deadlines
- Operate a range of Large Format (roll to roll and flatbed) latex and UV printers and associated equipment (e.g, cutters)
- Operate (clean, load and unload) printers in an efficient manner. This includes roll and ink replenishment
- Materials planning and inventory management to ensure adequate stock of inks and substrates
- Quality Control and checking of printed material
- Ensure printers are well maintained and uptime is maximised
- Ensure workshop is clean and kept at an high standard
- Follow Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 3 years Industry experience in signage related Large Format Printing (roll to roll & flatbed) and rip software.
- Understanding of substrates, materials, signage hardware and fabrication techniques
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
- Appreciation of all stages of production
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high priority tasks in a fast paced environment
- Experience managing stock levels and reorders
- Mechanical aptitude
- A strong willingness to learn and be part of a great team
- Speed, accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A can-do attitude
- Active and fit, ability to stand on feet for lengthy periods as well as lifting up to 13kg
- General signage and finishing experience would well regarded
