- Setup and work with LASER simulation software;
- Development of a LASER/Plasma system (simulation, prototype construction, and setup);
- Support and supervision of the project including LABview MSRT;
- Creation and documentation of all specifications in cooperation with development partners;
- Important internal interface to the areas of mechanical engineering, physics, and electrical engineering.
- Completed technical education (at least Master's degree) in electrical engineering or physics with a focus on LASER;
- Understanding of electrical engineering processes, metrology, and automation;
- Experience with LASER systems (especially ultra-short pulse technology ([as] [fs] [ps]…));
- Knowledge in physical simulation of LASER setups;
- Willingness to travel to national and international cooperation partners;
- German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are required;
- Relevant software knowledge is welcome:
- Operating Systems: Microsoft, Linux
- Simulation: Matlab/Simulink, OpenModelica, Python, Matcad, FEM/CFD (Comsol, Ansys, etc.)
