Lathe Operator / Labourer

Ozcon Engineering, located at our all-inclusive site at 17380 Warrego Highway, Dalby, Qld, operates a comprehensive and highly qualified pipe processing facility with an extensive machine shop, fabrication and general engineering service, along with thread gauging and inspection services. We deal with major CSG and mining customers and have the highest regard for producing quality workmanship.

We are currently looking for a Lathe Operator/Labourer to join our Queensland business. 

The suitable applicant must have demonstrated ability in:

• Following occupational health and safety regulations and demonstrating safe work practices
• Show a very high standard of quality control
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
• Use required in-process control methods as required by process documentation to monitor and maintain process quality
• Control and mark products correctly
• Perform necessary record keeping and paperwork
• Ability to problem solve
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Perform manual handling tasks
• General labouring duties
• Perform housekeeping in workstations
• High-risk forklift license is preferred.

Previous experience in a similar role is desired, but not essential.

The Ozcon team works a 42 hour week, consisting of four full days and one half day.
