As a Laundry Assistant you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Bronte.

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107 bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

Things that work for us:

  • Previous laundry work experience in a health care environment desirable

  • Ability to perform cleaning duties promptly and efficiently, ensuring the laundry process for residents is prompt and in accordance with laundry guidelines, including monitoring linen stock to meet needs

  • Experience in identifying unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment

  • An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

  • Willingness and flexibility to work in other service areas as needed e.g. food services team

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of customer service skills

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination and National Police Certificate
