About the Role
The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer manages multiple technical environments and integrations, ensuring optimised, resilient, and cost-effective cybersecurity systems. In this role, you will drive rapid deployment of technologies, collaborate with solution architects, and lead pilots for new capabilities. With deep technical knowledge, they engage confidently with external teams to operationalise complex solutions.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drive operational work streams to enhance cybersecurity systems
  • Maintain and optimise cybersecurity systems for resilience and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage initiatives, allocate resources, and expedite cybersecurity solution deployment
  • Work closely with solution architects to influence cybersecurity solution design and implementation
Who we are looking for
You will have experience in managing initiative backlogs, driving rapid deployment of cybersecurity technologies, and collaborating effectively with solution architects to influence technical solutions. Additionally, you should have experience delivering pilots and proofs-of-concept for new cybersecurity capabilities and possess strong vendor management skills to deploy complex solutions with external technical teams.You will also have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology or a related field or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity
  • Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity systems and technologies, with proficiency in configuring and optimising cybersecurity capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cybersecurity systems in a cost-effective and resilient manner, maximising operational efficiency
