The company is very established and produces very highly viewed content for YouTube and Social Media, we have a huge global audience and are competing on the international stage, running multiple channels from our studio in Warragul.
The role entails:
- Working closely with the creative director and having a good knowledge of projects currently in progress.
- Efficient editing of online content to a high standard through various staged of completion, applying feedback effectively and constantly elevating the standard of our work.
- Acting as the lead camera person for the studio, confident in use of small studio and cinema cameras (Sony FX3, BMPCC4k, BMPCC6k).
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment (cameras, leads, microphones, cad management).
- Preparing and running on-location shoots.
- Completing film set ups in-studio and delegating elements of set up to appropriate staff while monitoring their work quality.
- Using and updating the production calendar on a daily basis to inform decisions regarding the pipeline and work priorities.
- Being a role model professional attitudes expectations of staff performance.
- Participating in workshopping content ideas with the pre-production team.
We are searching for the hardworking right-hand person of the creative director. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of editing software, a quick instinct for the best shot and a confidence behind the camera, great energy and enthusiasm and a passion for fast paced online video content. The main aim of this role is to lead the production pipeline which includes working very closely with the creative director and taking a lead role in the rest of the team.
The position requires a committed and professional worker with a great positive attitude and high level professional level skills in Da Vinci Resolve or Premiere Pro (or similar), as well as an eye for a good shot/angle and steady hand with a camera. This as a permanent long-term role. A willingness to complete a wide variety of tasks with enthusiasm, from set up to pack up, to camera work.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High Level Proficiency with Editing Programs on windows (De Vinci Resolve or Premier Pro etc. - please do not apply if you do not already have these skills).
- Proficiency and familiarity with film equipment such as lighting, cameras, mics, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as a part of a team and create rapport.
- Organizational Skills.
- IT skills.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift 25kg.
- Clean Drivers License + Working vehicle.

Our studio is located within 1 hour of Melbourne in the lovely busy town of Warragul, great cafe's and restaurants, a theatre and a cinema, and can easily be reached from outer suburbs of Pakenham and Berwick, coming out of town, so avoiding traffic.
