Lead Oracle HCM Functional Analyst

About The Role

Join us in a pivotal role where you will be responsible for providing functional support to the business users and HR team in the Oracle HCM space. You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with business users to understand requirements, lead configuration changes, and ensure system changes meet business needs. You will also lead project deliveries and provide ongoing support and training to end-users.

About You 

Proven experience in supporting Oracle HCM modules with a strong understanding of HR business processes and practices. Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Core HR, Absence, and Talent Management modules, along with desirable experience in Payroll, Benefits, and Self-Service modules. You will also have:

  • ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • experience with system testing and user acceptance testing.
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business stakeholders and technical teams globally.
  • ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work with business users to understand requirements and provide guidance and recommendations on best practices.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure system changes meet business requirements and are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with external system integrators and support organisations as necessary to deliver required business outcomes.
  • Lead configuration changes within Oracle HCM modules.
  • Lead quarterly release impact analysis and implementation of features as agreed with business.
  • Environment management including production to test data refresh and quarterly release impacts.
  • Develop functional specifications for system enhancements, customizations, and reports.
  • Lead project delivery, including but not limited to, discovery workshops, delivery planning, hands on prototype build, process playbacks and supporting business change activities.
  • Participate in system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, investigate and resolve functional issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and escalate potential issues.
  • Maintain system documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
