A rewarding role as Lead Regional Oral Health Therapist for Dental Services Victoria will see you travel regularly throughout regional Victoria to designated locations, including Orbost, Nhill, Mildura, Seymour and Wonthaggi.
As an Oral Health Therapist, you will provide your clinical services to students in Victorian Government schools via the Government’s Smile Squad clinical service. Smile Squad was created to assist schools where workforce shortages exist, or dental agencies require additional support.

Apart from providing your own clinical services to school students, you will also supervise BOH students during clinical placements in Smile Squad and mentor and coach Smile Squad clinical staff in community dental agencies.
Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications but base salary will be approximately $83,000 taking this into account. Apart from your base salary, which will be disclosed upon contacting our agency, there are a raft of other entitlements including:

• CPD allowance
• 5 days paid professional development leave
• 6% on top of the lowest salary for your classification level for dual qualification allowance
• Radiation license reimbursement
• $9010 + $2650 tax free for living expenses and meal entertainment though this can vary on individual circumstances such as HECS

There are mandatory and desirable qualifications to be disclosed including:

• Highly competent in clinical evidence-based practice, specifically with paediatric patients
• Experience with health promotion and oral health education
• Experience as an OHT in teaching, student supervision and mentoring
• Qualified, AHPRA-registered current practicing Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist
