Tuggerah Veterinary Clinic has been caring for pets, wildlife and (occasionally) livestock on the NSW Central Coast since 1999. Our team is committed to providing a friendly, caring and professional veterinary service.

The majority of our patient load consists of companion animals – dogs and cats. We also treat a variety of exotic pets (including birds, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice and rabbits). Our client base is varied, but includes a significant breeder clientele, plus we have expertise in feline medicine and ferrets.

Our services include general consultation and examinations, vaccinations, tumour and cancer, soft tissue, ophthalmic and orthopaedic surgeries, dentistry, anaesthesia and microchipping. We have an extensive range of modern medical equipment such as an x-ray machine & digital processor, dental unit, ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring and a full surgery.

As the Lead Vet (along with the support of the practice manager), you will lead a team of passionate vets and vet nurses delivering a personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and their owners. You will also be responsible for the management and supervision of the financial and clinical function of the business.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science + current Veterinary Board Registration or eligibility for veterinary board registration in Australia
  • Proven veterinary experience within a senior role will be highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Leadership skills and team orientation
