AddressLead Wedding Photographer and Videographer
Growing modern and down to earth Adelaide based photography studio seeking a fun, out-going, punctual and attentive experienced freelance photographer and Videographer, to join our growing wedding photography team.
Whilst some training will be provided, this job requires an individual with strong interactive skills, and would suit a professional Wedding Photographer who wants to supplement their season with a shoot and dump scenario, an experienced Wedding Photographer returning to the industry from a spell of leave; an experienced event photographer transitioning into the wedding industry, or experienced freelance photographer looking for additional work (e.g. weekends).
This is a contracted position with scalable opportunity.
The scope of work for any given project will include travel, photography of the event to a run sheet and insight provided by our Creative Director, and transfer of RAW images to the studio only. No cull or editing required.
The time of each wedding sets the work schedule, with weekend and evenings being commonplace. The number of weddings occurring in Spring through Autumn make those seasons especially busy, with Winter generally quiet.
Applicant must have own:
- ABN for invoicing.
- Presentable car and driver’s license.
- Insurance.
- Basic equipment e.g. 2 x camera bodies, 2 x flashes, appropriate lenses, spare batteries/cards etc.
Events will be photographed at both indoor and outdoor venues such as wineries, homes, churches, hotels, parks, and other ceremony and reception sites and will span daylight and night-time hours. Photographer must be prepared for every type of lighting situation.
We are looking for a friendly heart-centred person who knows exactly how to conduct themselves at a wedding, someone who is creative, confident, easy-going, able to read the room, and mix and mingle with people from all walks of life and different cultures. This is one of our highest valued skills.
