** THE ROLE **
- Operating a broad range of modern John Deere machinery to carry out the production of dryland cereals and irrigated cotton.
- Managing irrigation schedules
- Operating siphon irrigation systems
- General property maintenance.
- Working with, and alongside a manager and specialised farm mechanic.
** DESIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES **
- Experience in cotton irrigation and dryland cropping
- Heavy machinery experience, including precision farming tech
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adhere to and uphold safe work practices
- Strong problem solving skills
- Have the ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Hold a current Drivers licence
