Learn To Swim Instructor

The College is seeking to employ casual Learn to Swim (LTS) Instructors, who will conduct swimming and personal aquatic survival sessions at The Geelong College Recreation Centre in accordance with the Life Saving Victoria Swim and Survive levels.Selection Criteria:

• Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent
• Hold a current Level 2 First Aid and asthma and anaphylaxis qualification
• Availability to work during school hours (essential)
• Competitive strokes qualification (desirable or willing to obtain)
• SCTA Foundation Coaching (desirable or willing to obtain)
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain
• Previous experience working specifically with children and/or adolescents (desirable)
• Integrity, responsibility and respect for others
• Ability to interact and communicate with students and other members of staff
• Willing support for the Christian ethos of the School
